          Notice: The Entergy system of companies has entered into an agreement with ITC Holdings, whereby Entergy¿s electric transmission business will be divested from the parent company and then subsequently merged into a subsidiary of ITC Holdings. Pending the closing of this transaction, your employment will be within the Entergy system of companies, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in your offer letter. Assuming this transaction is consummated, your position likely will no longer be within the Entergy system of companies and you will no longer be entitled to Entergy system benefits; rather, your employer will likely be a company within the ITC Holdings system of companies and your benefits will be those provided by ITC.           Responsibilities
          This position may be filled as an Engineer IIII, or Sr depending on the qualification level of the applicant.

          Plan, Design, Implement, Champion cross functional business processes and procedures to ensure coordination of infrastructure and asset definitions used in Transmission Applications in accordance with configuration management principles. Transmission Applications include but are not limited to Operations planning and modeling applications, Work Management, and Outage Management applications.
          Plan, Design, Champion technical improvements to ensure Transmission Applications adhere to consistent facility data definitions that meet configuration management principles.
          Plan, Design, Champion technical improvements to validate asset definition relationships between Transmission Applications and associated applications external to Transmission such as Distribution Applications, Property Accounting systems, and other systems as may be defined.
          Ensure configuration management processes and procedures produce auditable results to satisfy applicable regulatory compliance standards and meet internal record retention policies.
          Provide technical direction and follow procedures to maintain Transmission Facility Asset Definitions in Transmission¿s work management applications (SWMS, LWMS). Generate training guides and propose technical improvements to reduce common errors for data entry and improve asset definition consistency.
          Process work requests generated by construction, maintenance or other activities that require revisions to facility asset definitions in Transmission¿s work management and related applications.
          Design and lead studies and assessments to ensure asset definition consistency on a continuous improvement basis.

          Required Qualifications:
          * BS Engineering Degree, Electrical Engineer Preferred.
          * Demonstrates good engineering judgment
          * Strong engineering analysis and problem solving skills as required by the specific job
          * Thorough understanding of procedures, programs, and standards in responsible area

          Years of qualified experience:
          Engineer III - Four (4) to Six (6) years of applicable and progressive experience.
          Sr. Engineer - 6+ years of applicable and progressive experience.

          Desired Qualifications:
          PC literacy with Microsoft Office applications is required.
          Engineering knowledge from one or more of the following applications is desired; PSSE, ASPEN, EMS, SWMS, LWMS, COS, AORS, LM Database, AM/FM, DIS
          Working knowledge of Entergy's Remedy help desk system or equivalent is desired.
          Working knowledge of Entergy's Transmission grid and ability to interpret One-Line drawings is strongly desired.
          Six or more years of Transmission/Distribution engineering, planning or equivalent experience required. Experience in applicable IT services (application development/management) considered.
