          ROLE SYNOPSIS

          As an Coring Technician (Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul) with Baker Hughes you will be maintaining assigned equipment in accordance with operating specifications. This position will routinely weld, paint and refurbish equipment as well as conduct mechanical inspections.

          US LAND DRILLING product line offers directional drilling and formation evaluation expertise through our worldwide service organization. Real-time drilling and evaluation services help oil companies drill more efficiently, evaluate geologic formations, and place wells in productive zones within the reservoir. Important technologies include INTEQ's automated rotary steerable directional drilling systems, high performance drilling motors, and integrated logging-while- drilling assemblies.

          KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
          *
          Measure, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of mechanical assemblies.
          *
          Replaces expendable parts, gaskets, seals, lines, and fittings.
          *
          May perform machining, painting, and/or shipping processes.
          *
          Assist in cleaning, inspecting, rebuilding, repairing and redressing tools.
          *
          May perform administrative and inventory work.
          NOTE: This is a 24/7 facility and requires 24/7 availability, may work weekends; 12 hour shifts

          ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
          *
          Technical diploma, Associates degree or minimum 2 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive).
          *
          Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
          *
          Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and mechanical aptitude.
          *
          Logistics experience considered an asset (inventory, warehousing, packaging and material-handling).
          *
          Basic Electronic circuit experience (automotive electronics, airline, military, oilfield electronics repair).

          PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
          *
          General technical knowledge in fluid power technology and mechanical devices.
          *
          Ability to drive forklift and operate front-end loader and obtain certification.

          OTHER DETAILS

          Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
          *
          Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
